d3 Technologies is a fast­ growing company that sells their products and services to high ­end and complex events, shows and installations. Our product range, d3, is an integrated visual video production suite that has been used on productions such as the 2017 Grammy’s, Madonna MDNA tour, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the Nokia Lumia lunch, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others.

d3 Technologies is rapidly expanding its global network of customers and we are looking for aTechnical Sales Manager to join our EMEA team. This person would be pushing our innovative brand into new market verticals in Scandinavia and Germany initially, with Poland & Switzerland following at a later stage.

They would champion our growing range of products helping us expand into new verticals (film,TV, broadcast, architectural etc) while strengthening relationships with our existing client base and d3 users and working with the existing EMEA team.

Based in:
Northern Europe

Responsibilities:
● Increase brand awareness and market reach in key verticals
● Sales via a reseller/direct/partner across Scandinavia, Germany, Poland and Switzerland
● Working with our reseller/partners to increase d3’s presence in the Scandinavian,
German, Polish and Swiss markets
● Track and follow up on all sales leads generated from all sources, regardless of who is actually leading the sales effort
● Develop relationships with designers, producers, and stagers, as well as other
influencers to close sales and create a d3 “tribe”
● Produce accurate forecasts for sales of products and services monthly
● Provide demo’s for partners, resellers and new customers
● Work with the EMEA Sales Admin to process quotes, orders, invoicing and delivery of goods to customers
● Manage expense budgets to control expenditures
● Work with the EMEA Sales Manager to plan, resolve issues and ensure good
communication across the team
● Work with the marketing team & HOD to generate interest and knowledge of the brand across Scandinavia, Germany, Poland and Switzerland.
● Look after your own demo fleet of machines for your territory
● Maintain a “customer champion” outlook

Role requirements:
● Strong knowledge of media servers or a similar product. You will need to be able to
demonstrate the product and trouble shoot this technology.
● Commercially minded, with a proven track record of sales
● Organised, diligent and reliable worker
● Personable and a team player, who is able to work under own initiative
● 5 years of sales or similar experience
● Excellent spoken & written English along with second language for the region
● Clean driving license

Product Marketing Executive

Summary:

This is an exciting marketing role in a thriving, global market leader in real time visualisation and media server technology, for the live events industry.

There is a small, but busy marketing team based in Borough, London. As the business continues to expand, (we have recently opened offices in the US and Hong Kong) the marketing function will become even more central to the success of d3.

We have a range of brand and product communications, active social media, product packaging, and busy event programme around the globe.

We are looking for a skilled, ambitious, and technically capable person to take ownership of the product marketing activities and communications, as well as get involved in other key marketing projects.

Responsibilities:
As Product Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for all d3 software and hardware related marketing.

•Help deliver marketing materials and campaigns for d3 software and hardware products across print and digital channels, such as website, email communications, print brochures and event collateral.
•Responsible for working with the Training, Support and Development teams to create product specific content with a technical focus such as white papers, best practice guides etc, in line with d3’s communications strategy.
•Responsible for creating and maintaining product related sales materials to support the regional sales team including: sales presentation content, specification & comparison sheets, pricing and hardware manuals.
•Responsible for working with product and development teams managing the beta software release programme
•Responsible for developing go-to-market plans and developing launch packages for new products in existing and new markets.
•Ensure key messages and branding is maintained throughout all product communication channels from other d3 offices and external partners.
•Ability to maintain marketing database and segment to target communications.
•Provide support on additional marketing tasks and projects as needed such as events, merchandise/swag, contributing to a live and up-to-date project database.
•Support new branding implementation, website launch, events and internal culture and communications as part of continued growth and our rebranding.  

Role requirements:

•A marketing professional with creative flair, ambitious and great people skills.
•Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
•Product marketing experience (ideally software/hardware)
•Ability to easily understand and articulate technical concepts.
•A passion for marketing and an interest in technology and the AV industry in general.
•Confidence with digital marketing best practice across website, email marketing, etc.
•Ability to manage external suppliers effectively, both domestically and internationally and work within given budgets
•Hands-on web experience, content management via CMS, and knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO best practice.
•Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
•Strong writer and good proof-reading skills, with excellent spoken and written English
•Personable and a strong team player, flexible, self-starter, unflappable and durable
•Excellent attention to detail, planning, organising and prioritising

Beneficial but not essential:

•Knowledge of design software, HTML/CSS or video editing skills would be a bonus (Adobe Creative Suite: Dreamweaver, Premiere)
•Knowledge of Netsuite, Salesforce or other CRM tools

Technical Sales Manager East Coast – d3 NORAM

The d3 Technical Sales Manager East Coast position is a highly technical, yet social sales role with a primary mission of generating sales of d3 hardware products either directly or through channel partners. This will be achieved by demonstrating and operating the d3 range of products on site, at events or in shoot-outs, and converting interest into sales opportunities – working with the VP Sales Americas.

The Technical Sales Manager will also work closely with the internal Product Specialist team and internal and external master users, trainers, resellers and other partners.

This is a hybrid sales and technical expert role working to NORAM sales targets for hardware (and some software sales).

The role is central to the success of d3 Sales in NORAM and is a truly regional East Coast role. Whilst based in the Williamsburg – Brooklyn, NY office we would anticipate 50% of the time is spent traveling, so requires a dynamic, resourceful, flexible approach.

Reports to: VP Sales Americas

Based in: Brooklyn, NY, with travel across the East Coast of America.

Responsibilities:

•Working closely with the VP Sales Americas to deliver forecast hardware sales revenue for the region.
•To assist the VP Sales Americas in working together providing technical demonstrations of d3 hardware and software to sales prospects and their teams whether they are show designers, end users, technical operators and specifiers, operators or management.
•To also do the above alone, and to manage and close the sales process in those instances, including quoting and negotiating with the client.
•To participate in ‘shoot-outs’ and other product demonstrations, requiring high levels of operating skills.
•To talk to very technically competent customers and operators ‘in their language’ and be a ‘technical product champion’ for d3.
•To be first point of contact for any post sales product enquiries.
•To act in an account manager capacity with existing customers, helping with all technical issues, keeping them abreast of developments, driving extra sales and keeping d3 top of mind.
•To liaise closely with the software dev teams in terms of specifying products and future software developments.
•Liaise closely with the Product Support, Special Projects and Training teams. To look for opportunities with them and co-ordinate training with clients.
•To act as ‘product champion’ in NORAM – East Coast Region with the specifiers and operators.
•To act as ‘product champion’ in exhibitions and events within NORAM.
•To work within sales and marketing budgets and manage personal expenses effectively.

Role requirements:

•Strong technical skills in a similar or relevant product area. They will need to quickly become a ‘super user’ of d3 and be able to demonstrate both the creative and technical understanding to showcase and problem solve with this new technology.
•Strong sales skills probably from experience as a technical sales manager. Ability to persuade, negotiate and develop strong relationships across the industry.
•Commercially strong, diligent and organised.
•Flexible, self-starting and durable, a large proportion of this job will be spent on the road.
•Personable and a strong team player.
